Better bike parking for Watsonia
The North East Link Project is proposing improvements to the bike parking facilities at Watsonia Station.

Extra bicycle parking is planned including a new Parkiteer and bicycle hoops in the station precinct for more places to securely lock your bike.

A walking and cycling path will connect the Elder Street landscaped bridge to the station entry.
A priority crossing will provide safer, more direct access to the station than the old pedestrian crossing through the car park.
The additional, and wider, paths have been added following earlier feedback.

You can take a survey and make a submission.

The old station car park was removed during construction activities to build new connections between the North East Link Project tunnels and the M80 Ring Road.

The replacement on the same site is a new multi-level structure housing parking for bikes and cars.

Other features include a new forecourt at the station entry with seats, plants and a more spacious bus stop area.

A central loop road has been added with dedicated spaces to drop off or collect passengers without needing to enter the car park building.
